Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 29, 2026

Fitcountable is operated by Pentridge Media. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can request help, deletion, or access.

Information we collect

We may collect account information, Sign in with Apple identifiers, display name, email address if provided by Apple, profile photo, onboarding answers, goals, workout logs, food logs, calorie and macro estimates, consistency history, social/friend relationships, proof posts, proof photos, captions, app settings, subscription status, support messages, diagnostics, and basic analytics.

If you use voice logging, Fitcountable may process recorded audio or transcripts to turn your speech into editable workout, food, goal, or proof records. If you attach photos, Fitcountable stores or processes the photo only to provide the proof or profile feature you selected.

How we use information

We use information to provide the app, personalize goals, save workout and nutrition logs, estimate calories and macros, create AI-assisted drafts, sync your account, manage subscriptions, operate social/accountability features, prevent abuse, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with legal or App Store requirements.

AI and nutrition processing

Text, transcripts, food descriptions, workout descriptions, relevant profile context, and nutrition lookup results may be sent to server-side AI or nutrition services to create editable estimates and action proposals. The iOS app does not contain server API keys. AI and nutrition outputs are informational estimates and should be reviewed before saving.

Third-party services

Fitcountable may use Apple for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, TestFlight, and device permissions; RevenueCat for subscription status and purchase management; Insforge or other backend infrastructure for account and app data; Vercel for hosting, backend functions, and AI Gateway; AI providers for parsing and estimation; Spoonacular or other nutrition databases for food lookup; and analytics, diagnostics, or support tools needed to operate the app.

Social and proof sharing

New profiles start private. If you use accountability features, you choose whether proof is private, visible to approved friends, or public. Only share photos, captions, workouts, meals, and proof content that you have the right to share. Instagram Story sharing is user-initiated and opens Instagram or the iOS share flow; Fitcountable does not silently post to Instagram for you.

Advertising and sale of data

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your workout, nutrition, voice, proof photo, or health-related app data for third-party advertising.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. You may request account deletion or data deletion by emailing us. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal compliance.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, and you should avoid posting sensitive information in proof captions, photos, or public profile fields.

Children

Fitcountable is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review it.

Your choices

You can review and edit logs before saving, change proof visibility, manage subscriptions through your Apple account, restore purchases in the app, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, and request deletion or support by contacting us.
